Strawfoot Caps & Socks
Owner Operator
Owner Operator is a great little brand founded by two fella’s by the name of Steven and Peter run the whole show from New York where it’s all made. This season marks their third collection that’s full of some pretty classically styled outerwear and cold weather accessories that the two snowboarders have designed. Even their logo screams a certain old-school cool that you just can’t find in new gear. The insulated flannels are definitely my favorite pieces, but I’m also a sucker for knitted bobble caps.
Hufnagel Skewers
Perhaps not everyone can appreciate the beauty in these handmade skewers Hufnagel is now offering but I’ll be lying if I said I didn’t wanted a pair for my randonneur bike. Top off the perfect build with a set if you’re not a weight weenie- now for sale at West America as well as some other new soft goods.

The Great Divide
Local builder and bud Chris Wright is making his way down the Great Divide trail on his loaded Salsa Fargo starting at the top in Banff, Alberta with a friend. He recently started uploading pictures of his journey so far and jealous doesn’t quite express how I feel looking at these views from the saddle. What does one pack on such an epic journey? Check out his gear list for yourself. Good luck with your journey Chris, looks like you’re having the time of your life.

Around Us & Between Us
2×2 and Handlebars by Geoff Mcfetridge from his exhibition Around Us & Between Us on view at Ivory and Black in London. Hear what Geoff has to say about his work in this nicely produced video about the show.
The Way I Roll
Photographer and videographer Peter Sutherland followed six cyclists from different disciplines of cycling and personal backgrounds to produce short but moving documentaries on each one. Each subject has their own relationship with cycling and it’s inspiring to see how they’ve worked it into their lives as well as how it’s shaped some of their lives entirely. Can’t recommend watching these enough, check them here.
